About
Virtue Healthcare is a clinic specialising in osteopathy and acupuncture located in Willesden Green (NW2), North West London, for musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries and movement-related conditions. The clinic supports active individuals and people experiencing pain or reduced mobility through personalised, hands-on treatment and rehabilitation
The clinic is led by Nazan Garcia, a registered osteopath and licensed acupuncturist.

My Philosophy
I believe the body works as a whole, where mind, movement and health are closely connected. Although osteopathy and Classical Chinese Medicine come from very different traditions, both share an emphasis on balance, adaptability and treating the person rather than isolated symptoms.
The name Virtue Healthcare reflects these ideas. In both Western and Classical Chinese philosophy, virtue relates not only to wellbeing, but to living and functioning in a more balanced and resilient way over time.
By combining these approaches, I can look at a problem from different perspectives at once. Sometimes acupuncture is most appropriate, sometimes osteopathy, and often a combination works best. Rehabilitation exercises and movement based care are also frequently part of treatment, helping support longer term recovery and resilience.
Every treatment is tailored to the person in front of me.

Helping You Move Better, Feel Better and Stay Active
About Virtue Healthcare
Virtue Healthcare is a North West London clinic offering osteopathy, acupuncture and rehabilitation based care for pain, injury recovery and movement related conditions.
We support active individuals, athletes and people experiencing musculoskeletal pain, helping them recover, move better and stay active in daily life.
Our approach combines structural osteopathy, traditional acupuncture and movement based rehabilitation depending on the condition, presentation and individual needs.
The philosophy behind Virtue Healthcare is influenced by both Western and Classical Chinese thought, valuing balance, adaptability and treating the person rather than isolated symptoms. We believe recovery is rarely about one single structure alone, but about understanding how the body moves, adapts and responds over time.
Treatment is always tailored to the individual, combining different approaches when appropriate to support meaningful and sustainable recovery.
My Journey
People often ask me why I chose this path. The truth is, I’ve always known I wanted to help others heal — I just didn’t know how at first. After exploring psychology, medicine and philosophy, it was a chance discovery of acupuncture that finally clicked for me. From the very first lecture, I knew I’d found my calling.
I trained in Spain at the Escuela Neijing in 2006, before moving to London to earn my BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture at Greenwich University and my Licentiate at the International College of Oriental Medicine. Years later, after working closely with an osteopath and seeing how well our treatments complemented one another, I decided to train in osteopathy too — completing a five-year degree at the London School of Osteopathy.
That dual training allows me to bring the best of East and West together, offering care that is both holistic and practical. The philosophy behind Virtue Healthcare is influenced by both Western and Classical Chinese thought, valuing balance, adaptability and treating the person rather than isolated symptoms.

Registered Osteopath & Licensed Acupuncturist
I’m Nazan Garcia, BSc (Hons), BOst, Lic. Ac — a qualified osteopath and licensed acupuncturist with degrees in both osteopathy and acupuncture. I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and a member of the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority (ARA).
My clinical practice spans both structural osteopathy and traditional acupuncture, and I am comfortable working at either end of the spectrum depending on the needs of the patient.
Some treatments are highly structural and biomechanical in nature. Others are more acupuncture-led, using traditional Five Element principles. Often, the most effective care combines both.
Rehabilitation exercises and movement based care are also frequently integrated into treatment, particularly for longer term recovery and resilience.
Two systems.
One clinical judgement.
My osteopathic work is grounded in structural and functional understanding of the body — focusing on movement, biomechanics and musculoskeletal balance.
My acupuncture work is informed by Five Element theory and traditional principles, focusing on patterns of imbalance as well as symptoms.
Rather than viewing these as separate systems, I use clinical judgement to decide when each approach is most appropriate — and how they can support each other.
This allows treatment to be:
-
structurally precise when needed
-
energetically informed when appropriate
-
or fully integrated when beneficial

Beyond the clinic
Curiosity drives everything I do. I’m fascinated by Chinese philosophy, medical anthropology and Buddhist thought, but I’m equally at home with modern science and research. I believe one deepens the other.
I also practise what I preach. I swim, play tennis and practise yoga regularly — so I know first-hand the toll sport can take on the body, and how effective the right care can be. This personal experience helps me understand my patients better, especially athletes and active people who want to keep doing what they love. My work with Sports Osteopathy combines professional knowledge with personal insight — helping people move more freely and confidently.
I’ve followed a vegetarian diet since 2002, which supports my own wellbeing, though I believe health is personal and there’s no one “right way”.
And when I’m not treating patients or training myself, I’ll usually be found with a good book in hand.
I’ve been treating patients for nearly two decades, but what keeps me energised is simple: helping people feel better, recover faster, and move more freely. Whether you’re an athlete, a weekend warrior, or just someone who wants to take care of your body, I’d love to work with you and support you in returning to the activities and life that matter most.
