About
I’m Nazan — an osteopath, acupuncturist, and sports enthusiast based in North West London. I do more than treat pain: I help you heal, move freely, and get back to what matters most, whether that’s sport, work, or everyday life.
My philosophy
I believe the body works as a whole — mind, movement and health are all connected. Both Classical Chinese Medicine and osteopathy share this view, even though they come from very different traditions.
By combining them, I can look at a problem from two angles at once. Sometimes acupuncture is best, sometimes osteopathy, and often a blend works best. I may also use K-taping, cupping or a massage gun when it’s right for the situation. Every treatment is tailored to the person in front of me.
At the heart of my practice is helping people embrace their health and potential — whether you’re recovering from an injury, overcoming pain, or seeking balance — so you can move freely and return to what gives your life meaning. That’s why listening matters most. At the start of every session, I ask what you’d like to get out of it, so we can set realistic goals together and work in a way that feels right for you. Every treatment is guided by that purpose: to help you heal naturally, regain freedom of movement, and live fully.
My Journey
People often ask me why I chose this path. The truth is, I’ve always known I wanted to help others heal — I just didn’t know how at first. After exploring psychology, medicine and philosophy, it was a chance discovery of acupuncture that finally clicked for me. From the very first lecture, I knew I’d found my calling.
I trained in Spain at the Escuela Neijing in 2006, before moving to London to earn my BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture at Greenwich University and my Licentiate at the International College of Oriental Medicine. Years later, after working closely with an osteopath and seeing how well our treatments complemented one another, I decided to train in osteopathy too — completing a five-year degree at the London School of Osteopathy.
That dual training allows me to bring the best of East and West together, offering care that is both holistic and practical.

Beyond the clinic
Curiosity drives everything I do. I’m fascinated by Chinese philosophy, medical anthropology and Buddhist thought, but I’m equally at home with modern science and research. I believe one deepens the other.
I also practise what I preach. I swim, play tennis and practise yoga regularly — so I know first-hand the toll sport can take on the body, and how effective the right care can be. This personal experience helps me understand my patients better, especially athletes and active people who want to keep doing what they love. My work with Sports Osteopathy combines professional knowledge with personal insight — helping people move more freely and confidently.
I’ve followed a vegetarian diet since 2002, which supports my own wellbeing, though I believe health is personal and there’s no one “right way”.
And when I’m not treating patients or training myself, I’ll usually be found with a good book in hand.
I’ve been treating patients for nearly two decades, but what keeps me energised is simple: helping people feel better, recover faster, and move more freely. Whether you’re an athlete, a weekend warrior, or just someone who wants to take care of your body, I’d love to work with you and support you in returning to the activities and life that matter most.
